Overview: When a customer’s part is not recognized in the MTO catalog, & there is no part that would match, so Aliasing is not an option, that is when you can add to the Catalog
Unrecognized parts appear in red, indicating the part is missing from the catalog or has a naming issue.
IMPORTANT: If your catalog has a part would match this unrecognized name, use an ALIAS instead of this method.
e.g. your catalog has "CH 24x16" but you have received "CH-24-16" as the name of this part. Use an Alias for this case.

Step 1: Open the Catalog Editor
- Go to the Setup tab.
- Click Edit Catalogs.

Step 2: Insert a New Part

In the catalog editor, review all existing line items.

Click the Edit tab.
- Select Insert Row to add a new line item.


Step 3: Enter Part Information
- Fill in all required fields for the new part.
- Click Save, then Apply to confirm the changes.


Step 4: Exit the Editor
- Click Cancel to leave the data entry screen.

Step 5: Verify the Part
- Go to the Main tab.
- Click Check All to ensure the new part has been added to the catalog.
