In the event you are asked for your Version Number for either FastCAM or FastNEST, There are two ways to go about finding your version number.
For FastCAM/FastNEST 8:
Goto the Help Ribbon
Select About
And the Version will be in this window for "Version Number"
For FastCAM 7:
Please also note, that while most of the time the version numbers between FastCAM And FastNEST are the same, there are some releases that have differing version numbers between FastCAM and FastNEST
FROM WITHIN FASTCAM/NEST
FastCAM
Click -Control Pts > About
The field called "Compile Number" will have your version number for FastCAM.
FastNEST
Click Utilities > About
The field called "Compile Number" will have your version number for FastCAM.
Both will come up with a screen like this:

The other way, if for whatever reason you cannot load FastCAM or FastNEST, is to :
1. Navigate to your FastCAM Folder, usually located at:
For 64 bit Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\FastCAM\ For 32 Bit Windows: C:\Program Files\FastCAM\
2. From there find your FastCAM.exe or FastNEST.exe
3. Right Click on the .exe, select Properties
4. On the Details tab, the File Version is the version number.
