The most flexible would be leaving it to the cnc machine controller so that when you change the plate thickness you are able to specify it on the machine, allowing you repeat old jobs without creating a new nc program. The kerf Compensation in FastPATH automatically enlarges the shape and assumes that the machines does not handle kerf compensate on its own. Use this when there are known issues with the machine calculating kerf of its own.
