When loading a DXF from Fusion 360 the scale is all wrong. 100 x 100mm square 10 x 10mm. Anyone know a fix On Fastcam 8

Hi Simon,

Feel free to attach the DXF for review. Was it drawn in Inches by any chance? Also when you imported, did you check the drawing units option on the right?

Finally, if you want to fix it quickly, use the SCALE feature from the edit menu:

Hope that helps!

Hi Alex

The drawing units are mm in Fusion and Fastcam. Don't think it's worth uploading drawing as it's everything, not just a one off. Thanks for the tip on scaling, that's what we're doing but we can't believe that this has to be done, there must be a setting or bug somewhere.

Simon,

This is not normal behaviour.

I just created a simple drawing in Fusion and saved it as a DXF and took it into FastCAM.

The drawing appears at the correct size, as you can see from the below images.

If you need us to assist in determining what the issue might be, then you will need to send through a DXF file that does not scale correctly that you created in Fusion and send a service email from within FastCAM.

That way we can get all the relevant support files for your FastCAM configuration as well.
