shrinking a shape
Answered
Hi,
I'm wondering how I can shrink down a shape overall in size to bring it in from the edge and away from other lines.
I want to keep the size of the butterfly I'm cutting out, but when it's that size, (200mm across end to end), the pieces that get cut out of the inside of the butterfly, they tend to be just too close together and thus there is no metal keeping the holes separate, and this makes one large hole with no distinction.
I don't want to reduce every sided piece within the overall shape, so if there is a way i can just highlight the piece that I want to shrink down then that would be so much easier.
Thanks for your help on a previous question as that helped a lot.
Regards,
Keith
