Runtime error abnormal program termination while loading .dwg files

When I try to load a .dwg file onto the program it frequently gives me a runtime error. the file is made on AutoCAD 2022 (if that's any help). I have a suspicion that the problem is coming from AutoCAD itself because I have old files that work properly.

Can you send a screenshot of the runtime error? What version of FastCAM Are you running?

You may be right. If you are running FastCAM 7, and are trying to load the most recent DWG formats it may fail. What you can do is try and save the file as an earlier style file format (say 2014) and then try to load that instead
