Answered

Currently, "This is not allowed in FastLock. Use FMS FastCAM to check the software version." It is floating.

So win10 and the dongle does not work at all

That's why I have not been able to program fastcam at all.

Could you give me an answer to this question?

Hi hyunguen

Your available solution depends how old your dongle is. What is your FastCAM Dongle #?

If you have a black/grey USB type FastCAM dongle. You can try to follow this help topic:

If you have a very old Blue USB type or Black Parrallel type, these hardware are not supported on Windows 10. it is not possible to use those old license on Windows 10.

In that case you will be looking at purchasing a new license of FastCAM.

Also we've now released FastCAMv8. FastCAMv8 works on Windows 10. It is now a subscription product , no longer requires a dongle.

FastCAM Version 8 Annual Subscription Renewal Pricing:

FastCAM Professional per license/user $999 (per year)

FastCAM Standard per license/user $499 (per year)

My dongle is a red dongle.

I do not have any response. I'm frustrated.

Sense_LC, UniKey file, and installed C: \ Windows \ SysWOW64

There is no response.

Hi Alex,

Tried some of them, but now I inserted in different PC with Win 10 and it works.

PC 1 gigabyte with Amd ryzen - doesn't work

PC 2 gigabyte with Intel i7 - works

What should be the thing?

Hi Flaviu,

Most likely it is a compatibility issue between the PC and the dongle, rather than specific components (i.e. the CPU) on that PC.

Couple of other things you can try are.

A. USB CDROM device.

B. if you have another pc with CDROM drive, and a spare USB FLASH drive available, you can copy the content of the Installer CD to the USB Flash Drive. Then run the installer from USB Flash Drive.

if both A & B is not an option,

Can you take a photo of your CNC machine & CNC controller and send it to my email, jackson.fung@fastcam.com.au

WE will then do a longer method to check for which installer disc you have, and proceed from there.
