How to change the positioning of points and where it comes from (FastCAM, FastNest, FastPlot)
Answered
Hello for all,
After I load this drawing on the plasma the program it gives me the 1st cut of the outer contour and the 2nd cut of the inner (serrated) which cannot be done. Could you help me to change the prioritization and make it 1 inner contour (serrated) 2 outer to complete the overall cut.
Our company has this type of plasma - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKLdrHo2RWs
I hope my question turns out to be quite easy for you because I have a lot of difficulties with this and I have no one to turn to help.
Best regards,
Stoycho

Hi Stoycho,
For this one, I would recommend altering the original drawing. Mainly the Saw tooth pattern. Use Utility > Edity Entity.
On the Left side, make it SLIGHTLY shorter, by something like 0.1 - 1 mm. You need to make it so that it is disconnected from the outer contour.
On the Right side (where you wan the lead in) make it slightly Longer, again by 0.1-1mm
Once you have done those modifications, you need to use manual Pathing, So Select Program Path > Next Path
With that selected, add a path to the saw line, with no kerf. Then you can manually path the exterior contour
That should do it for you!
Cheers,
Alex
