what is dongle? where can i found it?

Hi Hafidz,

The Dongle is usually a little USB that plugs into your computer. It should be a black/grey colour, or if it is one of the new ones, it will be red. The Dongle is the thing that licenses FastCAM and without it you do not have a license for FastCAM.

Hi, I have same problem too. I have CD and Usb dongle. Licence Numbers starts with 1019. I need to install program to win10.

The article says intall to download unikey drivers but link's are not working. In this page.

How can i download this files.

By the way My CD contains Fastcam 5.1. How can i get any newer verison?

Hi Emre,

I can confirm the links from that page are still valid and active. I would suggest double checking your browser to make sure they aren't getting blocked when you try and download.

Also to get the latest version of FastCAM, you would need to investigate purchasing the latest. Your 5.1 is quite dated now. Version 8 information is available here:

Ok. Its solved. I think problem was on my ISP. I downloaded files with another network. Links work fine.

1806162022 is not a valid FastCAM dongle number.

Do you have a picture of the dongle?

it maybe easier to send a picture directly via email.

Sorry to say that dongle is no longer supported on modern systems. It MAY still run on 32 bit windows, but it will struggle on 64 bit windows. I would recommend having a look at FastCAM 8 if you need to get FastCAM moved onto a more up to date PC. Here is some info on that:

buongiorno: si ho provato tutte le procedure elencate ho provato ad istallarlo su un altro computer ma sempre lo stesso non si apre e sempre operazione non permessa fast lok versione fms . ho acquistato un altro cd con chiavetta e in consegna fine maggio: per quanto riguarda la chiavetta sulla confezione ce questo numero 1756445685 se puo aiutarmi perche ho la macchina ferma:

Purtroppo a causa dell'età di quel dongle (più di 10 anni) c'è ben poco che possiamo consigliare su come farlo funzionare su un PC moderno. La migliore soluzione che possiamo offrire è acquistare l'ultimo FastCAM 8 Standard qui:

Non posso dire. Il problema potrebbe essere il dongle o potrebbe essere il PC che non riesce a leggere il dongle. L'unica soluzione affidabile che ho è offrire FastCAM 8, che funzionerà e non richiede il dongle.
