Hello Alex could you help me...? Today when i opened fastnest.. i recive this error ALREADY_OPENED INVALID_PARAMETER CANNOT OPEN SENSELOCK.. i rlly need to make some cutting please help ... the dongle code is 09931757. Thanks

Hi Adrian,

Sounds like it is having trouble checking your Dongle. Try restarting your PC as a start, then try a different USB port for the USB stick. Was it damaged in any way?

Thanks for your response.. Alex on other pc work very good.. and in tryed to reinstall fastcam.. no work all the time i give this error.. the dongle no have damage .

Hi Adrian,

If it is working fine on another PC then I would recommend checking the ports on that PC. They may be damaged. If that is working however, then check this guide:

Man pls understand i make all from this guide.. the problem is this program is not OK and i rlly frustrate me bacause is expensive and i spend alot of money for my cnc and this program and i'm not lonely user with this error.. i see on more topics here .. many users have this problem and this guides no work

Adrian, if the dongle and the program work on another PC fine, but not on your one, then something has changed on your PC. I wouldn't recommend reinstalling windows, but instead, check to see what changes have been made since it last worked and see if you can revert those changes. The above guides should assist with getting the dongle to read also. Please be sure to follow them carefully. In addition, if you have an AMD processor, please be sure to check this step:

I don't have AMD i have Intel .. never mind.. maybe i will buy other CNC cutting program.. this program is stuck in windows XP age.... sorry but i'm very sad about this company.. i see manny users with the same problem on the internet

Hi Adrian,

If it doesn't work on your PC but works on others it is to do with the PC. There is little I can do to assist with this as that is old software. You would need to get the latest FastCAM 9 if you need it on that machine:
